I come from a multicultural background and have been extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in five countries so far and hope to expand that list some day. From this experience I have developed a true appreciation of cultures and unique crafts from around the world.

After college my entrepreneurial spirit came alive; I started my own footwear brand. It was intense and I loved every minute of it. I loved managing the process of design, sourcing, manufacturing and sales. Additionally I was able to work with some truly talented craftsmen and craftswomen. After that I wanted to experience working at a larger company to expand further as a designer and developer. So in 2016 I joined Brand Headquarters here in San Diego and grew to become the creative lead at that company.

About a year and a half ago I decided to explore new opportunities; I wanted to learn and grow and explore what else design had to offer. When I discovered user experience design it felt like I had found a missing piece of the puzzle from my process of design and development.
